A MESSAGE FROM OUR FOUNDER
Hi, I’m Clair
After a fulfilling career in retail management, I transitioned to teaching Business English in Hong Kong and later taught children in Guangzhou, China. Owning my language center, Excel English, gave me valuable insights into young learners’ needs.
When COVID hit, I returned to the UK with my son Adley and noticed a gap in financial education for kids. Determined to fill this gap, I founded Minipreneurs Academy to teach financial literacy and entrepreneurship, empowering kids with essential life skills.
Minipreneurs Academy blends education with fun, interactive learning. Seeing my son Adley, now seven, thrive as the first “biz kid” is a testament to our impact.

How does the online platform work?
Our user-friendly online platform allows children to access courses, participate in interactive activities, and complete projects from anywhere.
Are the courses interactive?
Yes, our courses include hands-on projects, games, quizzes and real-world applications to make learning engaging and fun.
How much time will my child need to dedicate to the courses?
The academy is self-paced to fit your child’s availability. There are 12 main modules and a key project module at the end. The academy is packed with information, videos from Max and Mia our 2 animated biz kid characters, and practical activities, so depending on your child, it could take a couple of months to a year.Â
Is there any prerequisite knowledge required?
No prior knowledge is required. Our courses are designed to cater to beginners.
Who are the instructors?
Our instructors are experienced educators and industry professionals passionate about empowering young entrepreneurs.
How can I monitor my child's progress?
Parents can track their child’s progress through our platform, which provides updates and reports on their learning journey.
What kind of support is available for students?
We offer personalised guidance and support from our instructors to help students succeed. You or your child can contact us through email any time.Â
Are there opportunities for children to work on real projects?
Yes, our capstone project allows students to apply what they’ve learned to start and run a mini business.
